Russia attacks Ukraine with drones and missiles: there are dead and wounded

On the night of 6 June 2025, Russian troops carried out a massive shelling of several regions of Ukraine.

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko, as of 6:28 a.m., four people were killed and 20 injured in the capital as a result of the Russian attack (16 were hospitalised).

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, said that the Russian attack damaged the metro tracks between Darnytsia and Livoberezhna stations. Mayor Vitalii Klychko said that repair work would continue throughout the day.

According to the operational data released by the Kyiv City Military Administration, a fire broke out in a non-residential area in Solomianskyi district. The fire broke out on the 8th to 10th floors of a 16-storey residential building. Rescue operations were underway at the scene.

In the Darnytskyi district, the wreckage of a drone fell on a playground. Preliminarily, there was no fire.

In addition, a fire broke out at a civilian infrastructure facility in Holosiivskyi district. Electricity supply was restored to neighbourhoods on the left bank.

It also became known that three rescuers of the State Emergency Service were killed in Kyiv while eliminating the consequences of enemy attacks.

«They were working under fire to help people. Another 9 rescuers were injured. Some of them are seriously injured, doctors are fighting for their lives», said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.

During the night, Russians also attacked Volyn. Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk reported the first explosions at around 2:30 am.

«The roof of one of the apartment buildings was damaged, many windows in apartment buildings were smashed, commercial facilities and private cars were damaged. We also have many broken windows in private homes, some educational institutions, and a damaged government agency», the statement said.

As of the morning, five people were known to have been injured. Later, Ihor Polishchuk said that all services are working on the spot and providing people with the necessary assistance.

Also, the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, said that last night Russia attacked Lviv region with attack drones and cruise missiles. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or injuries.

«An industrial facility in Drohobych district was damaged. In addition, several villages near Lviv are experiencing problems with power lines. Lvivoblenergo emergency team is already working on the spot. The life support systems of Lviv region are functioning normally», added Maksym Kozytskyi.

In addition, according to the head of the Poltava regional military administration, Volodymyr Kohut, administrative buildings, warehouses of several companies and a coffee shop were damaged as a result of a massive enemy attack in Kremenchuk district. The fires caused by the attack have been extinguished. Debris was also seen falling on a private house.

«Three people were injured. Two of them received medical assistance on the spot, one person was hospitalised in a moderate condition», added Volodymyr Kohut.

As a reminder, Russians attacked the Kutsurub community in Mykolaiv region with an FVP drone. The condition of the injured 70-year-old man is consistently serious.
